Dear Families,
We had another awesome week together! We spent some more time figuring out what it will look like to be a "family" in our classroom. We also spent time getting into what will eventually be our normal routine. Everyone is doing such a good job!
I have added a couple of things to the website. I have posted links to our weekly schedule and the spelling sign up list on their pages. I have also added Wonderful Wednesday, Spelling Help, and Friday Worship reminders on the right side of this page. We still need Wonderful Wednesday help on November 28, December 12 and 19, March 20, and May 1 and 29. If you are able to help out on any of those please let me know!
Have a fantastic LONG weekend! I will see your child again on Tuesday!
In Christ,
Jonni Hoeksema
A note from the newsletter-
Jordan Canfield is a current 6th grade student at KCMS. He was diagnosed with a tumor the size of a walnut behind his eyes in early August. The tumor/cancer is treatable but Jordan had a long hospital stay at Bronson Children’s Hospital through this month. In order to help defray costs for the family, the 5th and 6th grade classes will be holding a spaghetti dinner (Jordan’s favorite food) on Sept. 8th, from 5-7 pm in the school gym. Please come and join us for a time of fellowship, prayer and support for Jordan’s continuing treatment and upcoming Christian school tuition. A free will donation will be greatly appreciated! Please sign up HERE so we know how much food to plan for.
